I am making a headboard (a project that has been in the works for about 4 years!), and keep getting stuck on a source for 1" Royal Blue Ribbon. I would like to find one that is velvet, or has that soft plush look to it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you!

I have a sample board from MJ Trimming in NYC, and it shows velvet ribbon in three widths: 16mm, 22mm and 36mm. They show a French Blue that is probably a bit too light and a Navy that might be a bit too dark, but you'd have to see for yourself. Their web site is www.mjtrim.com.

Welmoed, thank you for your response. I checked it out, but the colors weren't what I was looking for. I finally decided on 1" Grosgrain Ribbon in Royal Blue, and purchased it from Lace Heaven. They have really good prices. We'll see how it works.

Thanks again!
