Looking for a new Pfaff foot (Moderated by Sharon1952, EleanorSews)

Ok, well I got that great deal on the Pfaff Automatic 93 ($10). I took it in today to get servcied and we noticed that the plug which is connected to the foot is broken. I can't find anything on the Pfaff 93 anywhere! Even the Pfaff dealer said these are rare machines (could be good, could be bad). I tried ebay but nothing comes up ever on that machine. It was made in 1963 in Germany. Does anyone know if the other Pfaff machine feet are interchangable? Or what model's may fit?? I have a picture of the plug (no idea how to post pics tho) if anyone can help me I could send a pic via email.
Thanks in advance!

Alrighty, we have a nomenclature issue here.
Are you looking for presser feet or a foot controller?
A Pfaff from that era most likely uses low shank, screw-on presser feet.
The foot controller is going to be a standard, 2-wire controller, and that is super duper easy to replace. It doesn't even need to be a Pfaff controller.
If the only problem with the wires is just at the plug that goes into the wall outlet, then a new plug can be put on the end of the cord.
If the problem is on the block end that goes into the machine, that can be replaced easily enough as well. On many of the older Pfaff's, the part that plugs into the machine can be opened up simply by removing the screws holding it together, and the wires can be easily replaced. If your's is a molded piece, then a wire set from another Pfaff with a similar plug or a replacement wire set can be used.
Honestly, it burns me that the tech isn't sorting this out for you. After all, isn't that what you are paying him/her to do, service the machine?? why should you have to figure out how to do it??
I can't post my email addy, as I will get way too many spam emails if I do. I would be happy to look at the broken piece if you can get me a photo.
