How should I interface a vinyl fabric if I can not use a hot iron and can not sew it in?

Would love to hear recommendations.

From Freudenberg/Pellon exists a fusible interfacing for leather, that fuses on a low temperature. I've used it for faux-leather and it worked fine.

So I would try that (on a small piece of vinyl (sandwiched between sulfurized paper, to protect iron and pressing board in case it does not work...). I think the number of the product is "L50".

Maybe you can get that. (In Germany they have Freudenberg/Vlieseline everywhere, but nothing else.)

Thanks -- I'll definitely look for that next week when I'm at the fabric store.

I also came up with another idea -- glue? specifically, a flexible fabric glue. It will be for this project: Work in Progress Review Link

Interesting project.

Well... it would depend on the glue I think. All fabric glues I know get very stiff. I'm not sure whether that is what you want. And when you move the glue layer might break.

But trying is never wrong... (also make sure, that the glue does not make holes in your material by a chemical reaction. I have no idea, what works for vinyl).

The jacket is small and structured, why not underline it.
