Hello! There is a machine for sale that is described as an industrial machine that also hems. The seller says it was her MIL's (who passed away) and she was a seamstress who sewed police uniforms. The machine certainly looks industrial and I'm guessing it does coverstitch (what I want in addition to the "industrial strength"). It has a 3hp motor mounted under the table to power the sewing machine and it all looks to be in decent shape. The problem is she doesn't have a manual for it. I've googled "Premier Sewing Machine" and came up with nothing. Does anyone have any info on the brand and where I could possibly get a manual??

Is it a Consew with a Premier motor? Do you have a picture of the machine?

It's an industrial hemmer.
Get that black fabric pincushion off the machine and you'll probably find out it's a US Blindstitch. This is my old US Blindstitch hemmer.

In reply to SewSuElle
oh, It ONLY hems. Won't do a cover stitch, or anything else.
Most industrial machines are single stitch machines.
