This is a long shot, but does anyone know of a store in NYC that stocks 1/4" double fold bias tape? I need it ASAP for this apron (view E), and looked all over for 1/4" double fold bias tape but couldn't find any. Anyone happen to know of a store in the city that stocks it? Thanks so, so much!

Have you tried the JoAnn Fabrics on Staten Island? It's been a few years since I lived in NYC, so I don't know if the store is still there.

Try Purl Patchwork (Sullivan & Houston), Steinlauf & Stoller (239 W 39th St), P& S (360 Broadway) or Sew True (447 West 36th Street).
Those are kind of spread out, calling ahead might be a good idea.

Lynnelle, Staten Island's a bit of a trek for me, but I'll keep it in mind next time I want to take advantage of a .99 pattern sale!
Lyra, Thanks so, so much for the recommendations. I called those stores and P&S has 1/4 bias tape. Greenberg and Hammer on 8th Ave also stocks it.
And Leslie, next time I'm not in such a rush I'll have to give that a shot! Thanks for letting me know about that.

When you add in shopping time, it may be easier next time to make your own. I still don't own a bias tape maker and just make it myself when I need it. for ease in application I usually sue the french fold method ( fold the bias strip in 1/2 and press, sew onto one side of the raw edge, flip over the raw edge, press again and stitch in the ditch) it is really sturdy edging and I don't burn my fingers while pressing.
The other nice thing about cutting my own bias strips is that I can make much cooler edges, playing with patterns and stripes along the edge of a piece.

awesome!
I'm still convinced you can find most stuff you need here. I'm trying to wean myself off JoAnns- have one very close to my home train station in NJ, but I feel better about supporting garment district stores.
