two places to buy at about 1/2 price (Moderated by Sharon1952)

The bobbin winder is something that I have wanted to get since I first saw it, but always thought the price was a bit much. I found two sites this morning which are selling the sidewinder bobbin winder for about half of what it usually goes for. Normal price is about $30. Of course there is shipping.
The two places are:
http://www.quilting-warehouse.com
and
https://www.threadandmore.com
The Threadandmore site is having a clearance sale right now with a 10% discount on purchase totals of $75 or more. This is a site from which I have gotten thread and other notions from in the past, and I give the site a high recommendation for wide selection of notions, and low costs.

I'm glad you asked about this. I was just wondering if anyone else has used one of these sidewinders. I've seen some pretty good prices on them around here. It's always such a pain to have to stop in the middle of something, or worse, just near the end of something, to re-thread the machine for bobbin winding.

These Sidewinder's are great -- I rarely use the bobbin winder on the machine anymore!
Be warned, though ... they may not work with Pfaff bobbins! (Had success with Singer, Bernina, Necchi, and Viking -- but my Pfaff's didn't fit)

Thanks for the heads up on the sidewinder. I'm going to have to set aside some Christmas Money for that little gem.
