So Santa brought a Wii this year and OMG am I sore! I'm addicted to Tennis and I can hardly lift my arm.
I've also taken out a lamp and fallen at least once.
I still have the Wii fit in the closet that I haven't gotten out yet...I'm afraid I may break a bone or something

Your abs will be quite sore when you first start using the Wii Fit. It forces you to incorporate a lot of core muscles via balance that you probably don't normally use (even if you do standard crunches).
In the first few months that we got our Wii, I actually messed up my elbow pretty badly from (I think) something I did playing WarioWare. Never figured out what it was, but I'd been playing the game for an entire afternoon that day, and I can't think of anything else that I did.
We have the Shaun White snowboarding game now. Even though I take a bootcamp class with a lot of squats and lunges, my quads are still always sore after playing the snowboarding game for a while.

My daughter bought a Wii on Black Friday. I played several games of tennis. Then I got up the next day to play some more
. Wow, my back didn't want to move anymore. The Wii fit is on our wish list. I may have to stick with bowling for a little while longer until I get back into shape.

We got a Wii for our anniversary. And yes, the tennis will make your arm sore. My DH used to play tennis and got really good really fast, so I was practicing when he wasn't home.
No injuries from Wii Fit, only the tennis. I've not fallen, but have hit the ceiling fan and light several times. There is a way to "flick your wrist" to hit the ball, but swinging your arm is so much more fun! Alathia

My oldest DS bought his Wii last year for Christmas. While we were gone camping, he put the Wii remote while doing the bowling game, through his bedroom window! So, a word of warning, make sure you have those straps on tight!

Santa brought one for Christmas. All 3 kids are complaining of elbow pain (tennis and bowling), as well as DH. I haven't played on it yet-too busy doling out pain killers to my family. Apparently this thing is pretty addictive.

Yes, pain from the tennis game, sometimes the golf game when I twist too much. Nothing from bowling yet, but then again, I used to be in a couple of leagues, so I'm used to those motions. Baseball drives me bonkers...sometimes I get hits, and yet, other times, swinging the same, I don't...it usually ends up with me laughing too hard to even focus on the pitching (by hubby).
Wii Fit - no injuries, but then again, I'm not trying the yoga yet, more of the balance and the hula hoop, which makes the kids laugh hysterically. I didn't think, until I saw the commercial, about actually raising my hands like the Mii does, I just lean when they throw the dang things at me. DS likes the Wii Fit because he's the only one who can make it all the way across the tightrope. DD hasn't tried it yet (she's 5), and DH will when properly motivated...lol.
I just got WiiPlay for Christmas, and that will help you tighten your abs via the laughter it causes - particularly when you are riding the cows and have to knock over scarecrows and jump over hurdles.

Santa also brought a Wii and Wii Fit this year . . . no injuries or accidents . . . but, I am sore in my thighs.
I thought I was in pretty good shape before . . . but, new muscles are getting in action. I have really enjoyed the Wii Fit so far . . . it's a nice complement to my free weights and elliptical. The biggest thrill (and surprise) for me was when the Wii Fit calculated my 'Wii Fit Age' and it was several years lower than my chronological age.
I'm looking foward to using the Wii Fit more . . . especially when I get to the point that it doesn't make me sore any more.

i've had far to many to count. My sister and i were playing tenis in the bacement, she got a little worked up and cracked me across the back of the head. I thought i was far enough away from her but i guess not. I got a wii-mote crashing into my foot, i've been smacked with the nunchuck navigating in Zelda, i lost my glasses from helping a 7 year old play mario party, and my sister even broke the wrist strap which resulted in me getting the wii-mote to my face (it flew BEHIND her). I swear i need to invest in some form of gamers insurence for being around my sister playing video games.

I've lost count now, the walls are now fabric.

Uncle Andy bought our kids a Wii for Christmas and they played it all day along with my dh. I absolutely love the Wii bc it keeps them all busy and out of my hair so I can go to the basement and sew!!
All I have to do is throw them some food at decent intervals and they are happy campers.
Injuries??? Well, I did snag a finger nail on some knit fabric while they were playing the Wii!
Aren't you supposed to wear that strap around your wrist so you don't throw the silly remote???
I heard people had broken their TV prior to the wrist strap.
