Just letting everyone know about what appears to be a good deal. I have never used this brand of needle, & I don't have an embroidery machine, but this seems to be a great price for this variety of needles & this many needles (On Special online at Nancy's Notions). I have never ordered from NN so I don't know anything about their s/h charges. Am just passing on what seems to be a bargain:

Klasse Needle Pack
An affordable mix of 21 needles for $6.95 (suggested retail is $21). Always have the right sewing machine needle on hand so you can change it with every project. This special pack includes:

* 5 universal sewing machine needles; size 80/12
* 5 jeans sewing machine needles; size 90/14
* 5 embroidery machine needles; size 75/11
* 5 quilting machine needles; size 80/12
* 1 twin universal sewing machine needle; size 80/12; 3.0 mm

These needles are fine in any machine that is ok with Schmetz needles, I've used them & can say they've not given me any grief. I've ordered from NN *Many* times -- they're not speedy but orders do show-up in a reasonable period. I probably will check this out, even factoring in the s/h it would appear to be a good deal.

Thanks for the heads-up, Pat

I have used them and I don't love them. The regular needles are fine, but I had some size 18 denim and had real difficulty piercing multiple layers of denim. When I switched to Schmetz I had no problems.

Check out CTSUSA.com, they have the best prices around Organ needles, truly the best needle out there. I only buy Organ needles and I get 100 with free shipping. Check them out.

I used the klasse needles also I do have to agree with nancy they are not my favorite to use. the embroidary needle not worth buying. the universal are ok. they don't last long. I like my Schmetz needles to. I tried these from my dealer buy 2 get one free. I always go back to my favorite one.

Hey Susan, do you like Organ as well as or better than Schmetz? I have only ever used Schmetz on my 2 Berninas. Since I've just had my Kenmore 19606 a short time, I have only used the needles that came with it (which I believe someone said are Organ). I appreciate the info on the ctsusa.com site & I looked up the Organ needles. The price for 100 looks great & I love the free shipping. I couldn't figure out which ones to order though. Of course I knew not to order the ones for serger or coverstitch machine, etc. The needles that came w/my Kenmore 19606 seem to be like the Schmetz needles that I buy for the Berninas (with the flat back), so I guess that if I ordered 100 I could use them for both machines----anyone else have Bernina & Kenmore 19606 that can verify that? But anyway, when I clicked on what I thought to be the flat backed sewing machine needles on the CTSUSA website, it listed all these brands of sewing machines they would fit, and I didn't see Bernina or Kenmore listed, so then I was afraid to order them. I would lose my bargain if I ordered the wrong ones!

I have bought these in the past and they are excellent; as good as Schmetz.

I have had one package or so - can't see any problem. I change needles frequently, so I use Organ, Schmetz and Klasse if I have them. Organ needles are great and you can also buy them in larger numbers from Sew Vac Direct and from Discount Embroidery Supply. DES also has Schmetz and embroidery supplies and bobbins for several makes of machines. I also like Kenmore needles since you can buy them at your local Sears...and they are Organ needles, but handily color coded as to size which makes them possible my favorite. For decades I only used Schmetz though...can't go wrong with them, but now I play the field.
