Patterns, adjustments and ideas for special needs fitting (Moderated by Deepika, Sharon1952)

My husband is confined to a wheelchair. Regular pants are too low in the back and too high in the front. Shirts are the opposite ... but easy enough to correct. Pants, however, are more difficult because they also need extra fullness in the "butt" area. Does anyone have suggestions about where to find professional patterns (my homemade ones still have flaws!!!) that would solve these issues? Thank you.

I have not been able to find a professional pattern that I like for my father, and I tried to adapt a kwik sew pattern without good results. I ended up ordering a pair of pants and copying the pattern. It still needed to be tweeked, but it gave me a starting point.
This site has the only pattern I have found:

The disability resource page has some RTW that you might be able to copy a pattern.

New Mobility also has a list that offers one place with a pattern
New Mobility. I haven't tried it as it does not meet my father's needs.
Love to Know has a good list of ways to adapt a pattern.
Makoa has another list of clothing sources.
Hope this helps.
