This story was in the NYT the other day and I thought it was pretty interesting. Mick and I had been discussing such things. He agreed that I'll teach him to sew when he gets older and he'll teach me piano when I get older.

Yet another reason to keep on Sewing....
and justify it to anyone who doesn't comprehend
the geometry, artistry, mechanics, creativity,

Excellent article, but I already know how to quilt. Guess I'll have to take up something new, like skydiving.

Fascinating!

I would print this and send it to my 87-year-old great-grandmother if I thought it would motivate her. But she's so depressed because she can't do so many things she used to that I don't think anything will motivate her at this point.
