Has anyone got the Yudu screenprinting machine yet? If so how do you like it? Is it complicated? I suppose it is like everything else expensive to get started.

I don't have a Yudu, but I fell for the Print Gocco screen printing machine. Unfortunately the Japanese company who makes it decided to cease production shortly after I shelled out the money to buy one, so supplies are going to get scarce.
It seems the Yudu machine might start a new trend w/ at home screen printing, so maybe Riso will bring the Gocco machine back to compete in the same market.
I know Michael's has a $50 off sale (dropping the price down to $250?), and it looks very similar to my Gocco except I read you can re-use the light bulbs. I believe the master screens can be re-used as well after cleaning. This should save you quite a bit of money in the long run since my Gocco needs new screens and new bulbs after each use.
From what I have read on the Yudu, it doesn't sound very complicated at all to get started.

My DS has been doing screen printing using the E-Z Screen Print sheets. I will have to take some pics--he has done FANTASTIC with them. They are not "framed" screens but work well. DS wants to do the larger size and that was why we were looking at the YUDU but to be honest, the quality of the sample in Michaels was not near as nice as DS EZ Screenprint. DS stores his completed scrrens in a plastic file box with hanging folders. He has sold some to classmates. I am going to hit him up to screenprint some plain $1 a yard knit for me so I can have CUSTOM FABRIC
!!!
Plus I just bought the "modern fit" KS Tshirt pattern for him and showed him how the pieces are sewn so he could, say, have me sew just the shoulder seams and then print across them front and back and wait for them to dry and complete garment. Or attach the sleeves and print across the front. You should have seen the glow from the light bulb in that boys head after I enlightened him on garment construction and how it could be manipulated!
Also he is thinking of the KS button front short sleeve that has contrast panels in front. Those panels could be made from custom printed fabric!
And the heat setting works very well. I have washed one of his WHITE shirts w/ black printing and BLEACHED it even and it still looks good!
So--it you want an alternative idea go HERE and see what you think. DS likes the idea he can cut small pieces or scraps and use all of the sheet. He masks around the edges of the screen with some of my FAVORITE blue painter's tape.
I will get pics and post them ASAP. But do look through their gallery!
Good luck on you decision. DS and I were going to go to a demo of the YUDU this last Saturday but got tied up. I wanted to see if the bad prints were operator error or bad design...but I think we will stic with the EZ for right now...

Thank you Minggiddylooloo and Mrs. Moos for your information. My sister called and said her daughter bought one at Michael's and my daughter is thinking of one, so I will proably use hers. My sister is using theirs now so I will know more about it soon. I think I might be a little old to learn all this new stuff. I've had a struggle with this computer stuff and have to ask for help from grandchildren. I will stick mostly to embroidery and will enjoy screenprinting with their help. I'm also looking at the EZ screenprinting which sounds more like me.

Dharma Trading has the Yudu machine on sale for $199. If you click on the link, they have a 'how to' video that is interesting.
I will stick with StencilPro or PhotoEZ. StencilPro is made by the company that makes PhotoEZ - the biggest difference is StencilPro has a longer shelf life (time before the product must be used to create a new screen).
