I wasn't sure where to put this, but wanted to let y'all know that I've been scouring Barnes & Noble for the latest Threads issues, and typically they're sold out by the time I get there.

I was in Sam's Club this morning and, lo and behold, on the bottom shelf were many copies of the September 2009 Threads! To top it off, it's 30% off the cover price, so I purchased it for less than $5. Next time you're in Sam's check the magazine rack!

I had no idea Sam's even carried magazines! Enjoy your Threads.

My Sam's has magazines, but never noticed Threads. I usually pick mine up at Joann's & use a 40% off coupon. Of course, sometimes Joann's has magazines "on sale" for 10% off, so can't use the coupon

Yep, the "10% off Magazines" sign seems to be a permanent fixture in our JoAnns, & I decided quite some time back that must be their way of not allowing you to use the 40% off coupon on the magazines!!!

What great news, I wonder if COSTO has them. I'm going to have to check this week.

I'm not a member of either Sam's or Costco (not close by) but I've noticed there are usually 1-day free membership passes online on various coupon sites, so it might be worth looking for them.....wish the fabrics would go there.

I used to be a member of BJ's, but of course you buy more than intended. My DH had to cut out those 12-paks of great puffy muffins and cheesecakes!

I checked COSTCO. They don't carry magazines. Oh well. The search for a good deal goes on

My Costco (Pentagon City, Virginia) carries a number of magazines at a discount, but I've never seen Threads!

Thanks for the heads up! I checked my Sam's yesterday and found one there. I've looked before and have never seen it. Maybe I've just been hitting it wrong! thanks again, Mars
