Hi All,
I ordered a CP1000 coverstitch machine from a local dealer, (thanks to so many wonderful posts here), and have some questions. The dealer is offering me a 20% discount on accessories from the janome website, and I am wondering: 1. What is the difference between the Hem Guide Type 1, and Hem Guide Type 2 (has a "quick release feature")? 2. How do you remove the center guide on the clear foot, as has been recommended here? 3. What would the 1/4" binder be used for? I know it has the plate that must be used for the 1/2" binder... 4. The dealer did not know anything about the extension table, except for the Dream World-type one that is on the Janome website. Thanks so much, I appreciate all the info here! Tailormaid

Tailormaid, congratulations on your new Coverpro -- I'm sure you'll love it. As far as your questions go, Part 2 of the Coverpro guide has the answers to the questions you asked, as well as other information on feet and accessories. You'll also find Part 3 and Part 4 helpful, too.

Thanks for the help! I really appreciate all the hard work you've done to compile the info on the CP1000 here, that's how I decided that I would get the machine. I ordered from Kevin at Ken's Sewing this morning. Tailormaid
