Does stretch mesh works as a skirt lining or will it cling badly or behave weird in some other way?
I want to make an a-line knit skirt with with the stretch mesh lining being about 4 inches longer than the skirt fabric, kinda like tulle showing through, but with a more supple feel.

I would probably make the lining from somthing more "traditional" (slippery) and add a strip of the mesh at the bottom to show below the skirt hem. I think it would hang and wear better and still get the look you want.
