I'm sewing a simple knit skirt with a rayon/lycra doubleknit that is a medium weight. I'm concerned about it catching on tights or pantyhose and riding up when wearing it. Any suggestions on a lining?

Thanks,
Judy

I have used both Rayon/Ambiance (woven) type lining in heavier, weight knit skirts and have used rayon/ambiance (woven) in lighter/medium weight knits too. I have used knit mesh/tricot type lining only for lighter weight knits (like a poly/lycra or rayon/lycra blend).

I like to line all my skirts to keep them from riding up/catching on tights and so they hang better and I don't have to worry about having the right slip.
