It even had DH remarking on what an interesting dress it was. He's a sucker for a red dress, but this one was extra nice. Classy, elegant but with a twist.

I fell asleep and didn't see it! Is this the dress? Wish I could see more if it. It looks really cute and it looks like a nice true red.

I saw the red dress. It was gorgeous. It had small pleats around a wide, scooped neckline and little cap sleeves.

Yes, that's the dress. The soft pleats around the neckline were lovely all by themselves, then the sewn in darts (? not sure what to call them) in the sides just added pizazz!

I loved that dress and that show. The darts are gorgeous - though they reminded me (not unfavorably) of that one threads article on how to correct mistakes. One example was correcting accidental cuts in fabric by turning them into shallow design detail darts. I think it was the seemingly random placement of her darts that made me think that. And now that I see the picture I love it even more - what fabric do you think it is?

ETA - my one complaint is that one dart that bisects her left breast. Really not the best placement on that.

It looks a lot like the dress on page 5 Ottobre Design 2/2009. I don't see any reviews for it yet, though.
