What is everyone buying this Christmas? Sewing items for yourself or gifts for someone else? Also, what is the one item you would like Santa to bring for you?
I would like for my house to sell and move to a condo.
I have already gotten a good deal on a Keurig coffee machine. Since my birthday is in December this qualifies for my birthday and Christmas gift. As for the rest I will just be spending about $20 each on 4 grandchildren. Two of them have birthdays soon. One the end of November and one the beginning of December, so extra gifts to buy. Another one has her 1st birthday in January. The oldest has his birthday in August.

I'm buying mostly clothing for dd (22) some little stuff for hubby we agreed we weren't spending a lot of each other this year as we have most of the things we want. If I had my way I would spend nothing for gifts but give what I would have spent for charity. We have everything we need but a lot don't and I know donations are really down due to the ecomony. Christmas has really gotten way to commercial for me.

So far I have bought hand knitted or crocheted scarves and shawls for all the ladies in our families from Etsy! I am really excited about this. We will visit the "made in Colorado" store for a few things to add.

For the men ... I have no idea. Tools are always good for my dad, but for FIL I'm not so sure. Last year we bought him & his longtime girlfriend a blu ray player, that to my knowledge he hasn't even hooked up. Maybe we'll hook it up for him this year and say "Merry Christmas." Actually what I might do is try to get him to send us back the vintage Jeep magazine ads we bought for his birthday a couple of years ago, and get them matted so he can put them up. Because they're still not up. Hmm, I see a theme ...

My husband just asked me what sewing tools I want for Christmas .... and I'm truly blessed, because I can't think of a thing. Over the years he has purchased most of the good stuff I have --- cutting mat, dress form, steam press, many scissors --- and everytime I use one of those tools I relive the Christmas memories when I received the gift.

2012 : starting stash 386, net additions 206, used 164, ending stash 428...I'm never going to get in front of this pile of fabric!
