I wonder this morning why I even started any projects this week. I have just trashed my second project in about as many days!

I have made some very stupid mistakes and now this time I really wanted to make this project and don't have enough material left. I can get more remnants and might even go over today after I get done working and see what they have for pieces.

Have you ever had days or weeks like that? Luckily both of these projects have been a kids pattern, a small amount of material and remnants too.

Oh, yes! I'm sure we all have. It can be very frustrating. When that happens to me, I just shut my sewing room door, do something else for a day, and when I come back I can start fresh with a clear head. Although some of those items I don't go back to for weeks... months..er....never.  :D

I second Debe- that is exactly what I do.  It's really frustrating when you have no fabric left to salvage a project.     That is one reason why I am trying to buy 3-4 yds and only stuff I really, really am in love with from now on.
Of course, I still have all those 2 - 2.5 yd pieces in my stash that I am sure will torture me someday.

Well, after the second mess this week, I took a short breather, got new material and cut the second project again and started it last night. I am convinced that something is written wrong in that pattern that is messing me up. So I put all the pieces in a bag and put it away.

I have too many things I want to do to try to figure it out now, so I guess that is an official UFO.
