Hi. I have a Minilock 750 which is 30-odd years old. Was Minilock a brand back then or was it made by someone else?? I am very curious to know.
It was made in Japan, weighs a ton and is a lovely (!) shade of orange.
Any help would be appreciated :)

Juki made the first "baby" lock for home use modeled after their large commercial models. I have not heard of the Minilock. I know that Happy of Japan made the Happylock.
Maybe google Feitsew and see if you can find anything. I did see somewhere something about Feitsew Minilock. I think Feitsew makes industrial machines.

Well pooh, I found this one site..for a "mini" overlocker named "Anysew"..Chinese made and I was reading the name I booted myself off line. LOL The Chinese manufacture's name began with a Z. This serger was a really old looking little thing. I think it was a 3 thread and looked like one of the first Babylock models and like some that you can find on ebay from time to time.

I did find a site that had the Babylock timeline, from the wooden prototype to the current Evolution, that was way cool. And I spent so much time on that, I didn't have a lot of time to look for Minilocks before I was half asleep, lol!

Hi girls. I'll be buying a membership this week after my trial finishes, and I'll upload a few pics of my minilock then. Might help you to help me if you know what it looks like. :)
