Yes, it is true that many women here sew amazing clothing for the men in their lives. One of my pet peeves is when someone makes a collossal fuss over a guy doing something that women do all the time. But, in the interests of not only sharing this very creative project but also raising the bar for all of us, men included, in the creative jeans category, check this out:
Hot Creative Jeans Sewn by Chinese Woman's Swedish Boyfriend on Industrial Machines Gotten Cheap in China
I'm inspired. How about you? Admit it, are you jealous of the girlfriend? This Swedish engineer could maybe make custom celebrity jeans, don't you think?
Since he engineered these to make her look wider-hipped due to her straight body type, think we could get him to engineer a style to make the rest of us look narrower-hipped?

Totally agree. Really cute jeans but I want to yank them up a couple inches. I actually think that such a low rise makes her look more straight up and down. But really, they are a work of art and exactly what they wanted. Very cool.

I agree on the low rise thing - but that's individual preference. The detail I really like is the front pocket shape - how not to be boring! and I 'quite' like the elaborate belt tags - maybe I'd go for a slightly tamer version. Of note that the project required a lot of ripping and fitting though.

Wow, those jeans are amazing! The fit is perfect. The amount of detail is incredible, even more so as they are the first pair of jeans he's made.
I love the belt loops and the buttons, and the pocket details, and the topstitching... I love everything about them!
I think the rise of them is perfect for the style and she looks fabulous in them.

Fantastic jeans. Did he topstitch both the inner leg seam and the outer leg seam? It looks like it but there is no real clear shot. If he did, I'm double impressed.

It seems to me too that he topstitched both inner and outer leg seams. I'm double impressed as well.
This is like equivalent to a diamond ring to me, as it is super hard to find perfect fitting, low rise jeans for my body type.

Yes he did. If you look at the one where you can see her high heel shoes in detail, you can see her big toe on the far foot meaning your viewing the inside of the jeans. The closer foot you can see her baby toe. So yes, he DID do a double line of topstitching on these jeans inside and outside.

I've lost count now, the walls are now fabric.
