I am new to making drapes. I bought a lightweight, navy rayon faille fabric to make drapes for my bedroom. I know nothing about linings, (and little about fabrics). I will have sheers behind them, but I would like to line the curtains so they look finished. I am not sure if this matters or not, but my windows do condensate, and the evening sun is strong on that side of the house. I have searched for two days and am just confused! Thanks for any help and suggestions you can give me. All are appreciated. canarygirl

Go to Joann Fabrics website and in the home decorating section, click on "drapery lining". Each one has a description to help you decide what you want.

Personally, I would just line them in 100% cotton fabric. Cotton wears well.
