LOL! (Moderated by Deepika, EleanorSews)

I was just doing a search for something related to Doctor Who -- trying to find a photo that went with a quotation I liked from one episode. I had that quotation in my signature. Then I typed in "Doctor Who" along with that particular quotation into Google Images and lo and behold, about 2/3 of the results were photos from my Pattern Review posts, some of them dating back for years (since current signatures appear on old posts as well). This freaked me out, so I deleted that signature -- BUT I still get those same PR results when I do that same Doctor Who image search. I wonder what people across the globe are thinking when they do a similar search and end up with photos of a dress I liked from a particular issue of Burda magazine!

Sooo... just a heads up. The world is watching -- literally!

I just tried this and got lots of images from PR, a few from my actual posts, but most from others in the same threads. A couple didn't seem to be related at all.
Interesting.
ETA: I just googled (images) your current sig
and got 6 pages of PR links, none of which contained the actual pic that is your current avatar!!

Yes, all kinds of photos that seem unrelated to my posts, too. No idea why! But hey, from now on (other than the image/artist info., which I always provide since it would be just wrong not to), I'm going to make sure my signature is not something that a person might search in Google Images.

P.S. Try doing that same search you just did without the words "Current image" and most of what you'll find WILL actually be related to that painting and/or to that artist. Whew!
