I know about Joann's pattern sales -- Butterick, McCall, and Simplicity for 99 cents, and Vogue patterns 75% off or $3.99 each. But is there a deep discount venue for Burda patterns?

Fabricland in Canada has 50% sales on Burda sometimes. I know their sales are different from a province to another but here in Quebec, it's on now! I think a remember a 50% plus 20% sale on Burda also but they're not frequent.

I've never seen Burda on sale at Joann's. They're just 50% off everyday.

The day after Thanksgiving, Jo-Ann's offered 10% of your entire purchase for a few hours in the morning. They don't do it often, but that's the only way I know of to get an extra discount on Burda.

Irene,
If you join the American Sewing Guild ($35/year), you get a Joann's discount card which is good for 10% off your total purchase all the time, including sale items. Mine pays for itself in a matter of weeks. :)

Wow, Debbie! That sounds like a great deal. I don't have a local ASG. Can I still join just to get the "title" and the discount card?? If so, my membership would also pay for itself in just a few trips to Joanns.

This isn't Burda related but several places give an ASG discount. The one that I use the most is EmmaOneSock; she gives 5% and since I am always ordering from her, it's a nice perk. Also Kai Scissors gave 25% off through December for ASG members and I definitely took advantage of that. I'm a charter member of the You Can Never Have Too Many Pairs of Scissors Club
. They made nice gifts for my sewing friends.
