I did it I finally got my patterns organized in order of importance to me. I can now begin the new year with a new appreciation for my pattern collection. I realize that so many of the patterns I have are only variations of last season or a few years ago. So I really don't need to buy too many more. Let me rephrase I shouldn't buy another pattern for the next five years unless something spectular comes along : However, I can now reach up and pick my next few projects with ease. HAPPY NEW YEAR

Congrats!!! Hopefully, you're going to post pics of your new organization system ~ or at least, the projects that said organization helped you complete! :)

Last night, I spent over 5 hours cleaning and "re-organizing" my sewing room. And I'm still not done (need more storage containers or a disruption in the space-time-continuum so I can get WIPs finished! Sorry ~ just got done watching the Doctor Who marathon!). I prolly have another 4 hours left to go before I'm happy. o_O

So, here's to everyone having lovely, organized, creativity-enabling, inspiring sewing spaces (whatever they may be) in the new year!!!

(And here's to everyone having enough storage space for fabric!! A nice alternate dimension that would fit in one's pocket would be nice, too!)
