I was just cruisin on Ebay & saw a few of these...black & gold, white & a beautiful oak. Has anyone ever bought one & used it? They look really neat & like an extension table you can get for other machines....but wood & high luster ...not plastic. ...
So what do you think?

Example of the Oak....
HANDCRAFTED RED OAK FEATHERWEIGHT EXTENSION TABLE

Here's mine :D

Ed's work is exquisite. And he's the nicest guy. I'm one of those people who just doesn't like sewing with a machine that isn't level with the table - since I wasn't finding a folding table for my FWs, this was second best, and I love it! I'm a sucker for beautiful, silky fabulous feeling wood (it's sort of like fabulous fabric to me), so I love mine.

I recommend his work unconditionally!

Oh I love that.... did you get it at the same person who is on Ebay?
I love the table right up to the FW & easier to hold more fabric.
Thank you for posting that! Beautiful!

ummmm here....let me provide you with a slobber cloth.....

It's from the eBay seller Kittys linked to twice-a-treasure on eBay It looks like he just sold a few & only has one table up for auction right now... I think he usually posts several at a time, but then goes a few weeks or months with nothing.

He's super friendly though, & if you e-mail him he'll let you know if/when he has more.

Mine, btw, is Amazon rosewood - I fell in love the second I saw a picture of it - even he said it was one of his favorites ever! (of course, he might say that about all of them lol)

I just e-mailed him to see if he ever does one in Maple or Cherry wood...match my sewing area. ...Though the Oak is beautiful! I hope I can get one. ... I know they will go fast now! ....
Beautiful though....Wouldn't Martha Fw look pretty with one by her side?

I know that he uses maple & I think cherry - I was admiring a cherry (or maybe it was mahogany...I forget now...) one when I bought mine....I was trying to be fair to all the woods, but I knew the rosewood was It

JillyBe, any bother that the machine is set in the middle, not the front? Love yours.....must have! Thx for this idea, tgm and kittys.

Maia the needle is about 8-1/4" from the front edge of the table. My 201 & Janome both sit about 9" from the front edge of their cabinets, so it's perfect as far as I'm concerned!
