Hi, Well I just passed my motorcyle test. I'm waiting to get out on the not so well traveled roads with my husband to learn the bike better. When you take those test the bikes are small and easy to ride. But from small to BIG! Take a little more then class room learning. I'm up to it and will take a few weeks to know the bike.
Here's a better picture of me and my Bike.

On the one picture. I covered the new reach seat. It has sheep skin fur in the seat area with black poly seat fabric around the sides. To hold it down a heavy duty rubber cord pulling the seat to fit tight. Under the seat I have two feltcrow tighting straps.
On the side of the seats decoration to match the saddle bags.

that is very cool! My husband is today finishing a motorcycle safety class, but he's doing it for the new scooter we bought (a honda ruckus). Should be fun. I think I'll be following him down this road later this summer. Did you have experience in this, or are you new to motorcycles?

Congrats! I love riding. It is about the only time I can really let go of stress. Wish you were closer, we could meet up for a ride.

Just remember: The turning radius on a smaller bike is tighter than on a larger bike. Turn too sharp, and you will fall. And don't forget your helmet...We want you here on PR!

I already know that one. I rode this bike home from where we bought it. Had a very close encounter with a few reflecter poles.
Too close for my comfort. I did manage to move away with out getting into pole trouble. Yes helmets is a must with me never leave home with out it.

I know this is a photo to show your new bike. But, I couldn't help notice your foot wear.

Please wear good boots when you ride. Steel toes are recomended. I have good waterproof RedWings, lace up over the ankle. You will get caught in the rain. I'm sure you learned in class about wearing the proper riding gear.

Love your bike. You'll have a wonderful time.

We've traveled all across the United States, all through the SouthWest, Calif, from Michigan many times in the last 20yrs. And will be riding to OK, NM, Utah & Co this summer.

hehe, I never doubted you had gear, I recognize a "YAY NEW BIKE" picture when I see one ;)

The more you ride, the easier it gets. I wouldn't be scared of longer rides if you work up to it gradually.

I've been riding a lot longer than my husband. we're a little backwards i guess.

This ROCKS!!! I just passed my permit test and now need to take the rider course (since I know NOTHING).Should be interesting. I'm not sure I want to actually drive a motorcycle...but I suppose we'll see. Hubby wanted me to take the course so I'm better at riding on the back. I do kind of hate sharing though so who knows maybe if I actually learn to ride I'll just want my own bike.
