We have a great independent book store in town, actually I am lucky that we have several.

I went to Bolan Books to check out magazines, then wondered over to the Craft shelves to see what sewing books they may have. I was impressed to see at least 6 different pattern making books. I have now got my Christmas list.

There were two editions of Pattern Magic in English, who what incredible books and designs.

Two Leo Castro (I think that was his name), on general pattern making.

I did not catch the names on the other books. I do know they did not have Metric Pattnern Making.

I think it says a lot about sewing in my community that a book store is stocking these books. I also love that a indy book shop can order what their customers want, instead of being pushed books from a national distribution point.
