Anyone watching this on PBS? I was happy to find Washington DC PBS is airing this, Maryland isn't. They are airing on Sundays in mid afternoon. I've missed 5 eps but the one I caught was pretty good. will probably wind up buying it. They have a whole website for it.

My local PBS station isn't carrying it. It looks like a wonderful series.

Its so frustrating to know that these are on TV . and everyone can watch them but you. as they aren't in your area. Good thing we have access to them via links now. or I would miss out on a lot of these.
Thanks sewwolf..

It's ten eps. They can run a Ken Burns 6 hours doc on our PBS but not this. Makes no sense. I even called our local PBS to find out about this and she told me they have no plans to run it at this time. The Washington PBS is run by Howard University in Washington DC and they always run the sewing stuff. My hats off to them. They were also the first to run Charlie Rose in the Balto Washington Area one of the best talk show hosts out there. Md PBS seems to program more for the haves were as WHUT programs more to the urban residents.

Years ago, I phoned our local PBS station to inquire about a particular sewing program. I learned that each station has to purchase the program. Whether it was purchased depended on viewer demand and their budget. These days, I think the budget has a lot of say in the matter. The stations buy what people will watch, or what they can afford. Oh well, , , it is what it is.

Oh not shown here either... thank you for the link. Lately our PBS has really cut back on Sat sewing shows... I do not get it either! We always call in during pledge for sewing programs & cooking shows.... we are on a very limited budget but just let them know we appreciate the programming .....Thank you for posting this.

It looks wonderful but sadly, and typically, they are not showing it here. Nice to see us getting some recognition, though!

Well you can buy the DVD.

Or if you subscribe to The Quilt Show, they are going to be making episodes available online next year apparently.

I just read an announcement at The Quilt Show site that they will be carrying these shows later for all members. I love that website, so hopefully I can watch them there. They are not listed on the Boston or Providence PBS listings - yet.
