I purchase a few yards last week from Fashion Fabric Club. It was very nice fabric. It was mostly ITY knits with a couple of cotton lycra yards too. There were a few draw backs. I could not touch before I bought it and then I had to wait a few days to get it. I love just touching fabric and that is probably why I have such a good stash. I live in St. Louis and was able to pick up the shipment my self and not pay for shipping this shortened my waiting time by several days.
Of course every thing I picked up went on sale this week. ( just a $1 per yd less) I am glad I read the reviews after I made the purchase because I would have missed out on some nice knits. I was trying to be careful and only pick a knits I had read were good for most tops. I am going to give the slinkys a try next time. Most of the reviews were from a few years ago so maybe you should give it a try too.

My stash is a monument to FFC and I too have been pleased with them. While monitors differ in portraying color, I find FFC does an excellent job of describing the fabric and color. I am coming to St.L in June. Can you shop at FFC or is it strictly online purchasing?

It is strictly online shopping but you can pick it up and save the shipping. You need to note that when you order. You will want to make sure it is cut and ready for you. I called ahead of time. There is no sign on the building or on the lot.The staff did not want to talk but I did ask if they ever open up to the public to see the fabric. It was a definitive no. It seemed they liked being hidden.
