Is there such a thing? (Moderated by Sharon1952)

If a person is interested in starting to sew for a business, is there a software program out there that I can plug the individual's measurements in and it will create a pattern?
I watched Lutterloh's video and it seemed so complicated. Is there one that will work on a Mac?

Yes, there are pattern drafting software programs including My label by Bernina, Wild Ginger and some that print patterns. many programs have a copy right on what can be used for business purpose when created in software. Computers do flat pattern making and some fitting skill is still needed.Free patterns

I'm also a Mac user, and AFAIK, the only pattern drafting software that's actually Mac-friendly is Cochenille, though I've not gone as far as trying it myself.
It infuriates me when Windows software manufacturers say they work on Mac, only to find out later what they really mean is that if you install Windows on Parallels, Bootcamp, etc on a virtual machine, then you can run their Windows software on a Mac. Which, frankly, is awful and insulting! For some reason, I only ever come across this with pattern drafting software, so I don't know if these companies are stuck in the stone ages or what, because it doesn't seem to happen when I look for other Mac apps!

18-Year User of Garment Designer on Mac for both sewing patterns and knitting machine instructions/designing - Everything fits, easy to use, great tech support, and you can use very detailed measurements or simple measurements. Highly recommend; we use it in our business, NAYY.
