Hello PR I have a non self healing cutting mat and hate it
i am hoping to get a new one soon. I am wondering if anyone knows how i can fix it up a bit to get by? my fabric catches on the scratches and its so frustrating scared its going to tear up fabric thanks for any help

I bought my olfa rotary mats at Michaels with their 50% off one item coupon. We get coupons for Michael crafts weekly.

I've had a few mats that I turned over and was able to use the back for a while before replacing. Of course, it doesn't have the grid markings. Maybe that would work for you.

I was going to give the same answer as rosehatten gave.
Flip it over and keep using it. If you watch Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting on PBS you will notice they do not use gridded mats.
