In addition to the thread I will pick up a Baby Lock Ellageo Plus sewing/embroidery machine this Monday. We hoped it would be in the store Friday afternoon but the UPS guy let me down. I still can hardly believe it! Now I am more then committed to learning to hoop correctly. My baby Lock essante ecpi would not do a high stitch count even though it fit in the hoop. I have had the machine since 1996 so guess I was due. It can be upgraded by hooking into the internet. Anyone have that model? I did not do a search but I will later. I believe this is the 3rd model.

Thanks for your past help as well as the future help I will no doubt need. They offer one on one lessons so I am looking forward to that also.

Merry Christmas! You will love love your Ellageo Plus : ) It embroiders like a dream, you can combine lettering and designs on screen..and it has a bunch of designs already installed. Not only is it a lovely embroidery machine, but it is a dream of a sewing machine as well. Make sure you learn how to use the pivot foot..it makes hands free sewing of curves and corners so easy.

I picked up my machine today! I never saw so many feet above and beyond what you usually get. I was real tired today so I just looked through the books and then put it away. It is a lot to take in but I know I am going to love it. So far nothing has been said about how it will fit in my tiny craft room but I need to come up with a plan. I also have a large die cutting machine. I now have a 3' wide center of the room. I keep saying I need a shop like his but he is just not listening to me!

I can not believe hiw fast this machine is. I am just now trying out things but the things they have come up with these last 17 years that I was ill is just amazing! I might actually try to work on fashion sewing again but I want to get better at this first.
