Basic Accessories (Moderated by Sharon1952, EleanorSews)

Hi, I have just bought a Virtuosa machine (160) second hand. It doesn't have any basic feet except the number 1 and walking foot.
There isn't an instruction manual with it so I can't see what the buttonhole foot is. I know I could use a number 3 foot but I would like to buy the automatic one. 3A or 3B? Can anyone let me know what one I need to buy?
Also... the knee lift is missing and also the extension table.
Does anyone know of a good site where I can purchase these items? sharp sewing doesn't seem to have what I need. I'm wondering how much a knee lifter would set me back?
I have bought this machine solely for freehand qulting when I travel to a group weekly. My other machines are either too big or don't have the needle down and knee lift facility.
I still think I need the number 4 zip foot, buttonholer and obviously a free motion foot just to complete the versatility of this lovely machine.
Fortunately I bought an absolute bargain or I would be very upset. The lady inherited the machine and isn't a sewer so didn't reaally know about the accessories.
thanks
Sue

The auto buttonhole foot is 3A I believe. You need to get that calibrated at your dealer to work correctly. I think foot 37 as well as 57 would be good if you like to quilt and need a 1/4 seam. I also recommend foot 10 - it's one of my favorite go to feet.
They make a lot of accessories that will fit this machine.
