Altering a gown with hand beadwork (Moderated by Deepika)
Posted on: 6/4/13 7:29 AM ET
Hi, everybody. One of my co-workers asked me about a project she needs some help with. She's planning to wear a dress at an event (I forget what, she's going to be on stage as MC, I think), and she has this new gown that has a lot of beadwork on it. She wants to have the gown altered, which will probably necessitate some new beadwork.
Can anyone refer me to some who can do the alteration (which seems straightforward) and add the new beadwork? I already suggested going to some of the bridal trims shops in the garment district to get a referral, but I figured someone on PR would have an idea, too.
TIA,
Tom
