My son is a Wyoming cowboy and for work prefers collarless shirts with fuller sleeves and plenty of room in the body for ease of movement. I buy him these

http://www.jpeterman.com/The-J-Peterman-Shirt

when they go on sale and wish I could find a pattern.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I was thinking of Folkwear too, but the shirt I thought of was this one:102
if you added buttons, it would be pretty close

Thank you! I've had the MO Boatman shirt pattern for years but my son doesn't like the collar or closing. 102 is closer- couldn't be too hard to extend the opening and add buttons...

hope those aren't Famous Last Words. :)

I would think using a that placket would be more difficult that just having a standard button placket running the length of the shirt.

You are probably right but he likes not having so many buttons to snag on things.

Diane, you are a honey! That looks like exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not familiar with the company. Have you used their patterns?

I found the pattern on E-Bay after gasping at the almost $7 s/h charge on the original site. My first E-Bay purchase. :)

I've never used them, but I used to make lots of costumes and knew where to find things I might have needed. Good Ebay score!!
