I have a Juki MO-654DE and am trying to master the various stitches. The brochure I have for this machine has a picture for what is labeled a "ruffled roll hem". It's a small picture that looks like a lettuce or wave edge but I can't find instructions and settings anywhere.
Does anyone here know how to achieve this edge on a Juki serger?
Thanks.

Set it up for a 3 thread rolled hem, and set your differential feed to 0.5, or whatever makes the feed dogs stretch the fabric. This will stretch it out while sewing the hem, creating a lettuce edge.

The first time I did a lettuce edge I didn't realize it works better the stretchier the fabric. While this seems like common sense to some it wasn't for me:)
