enconomical source, also Heat N Stitch (Moderated by Pyrose)

If anyone is looking for a good price on the 90 wt. bobbin thread that some of the Brother-made ME machines use, I just received and email fron AllStitch that states that they now have Fil-Tec brand 1100 yd. mini cones for $7.25.
They also offer the Stitch N Heat topping. I want to try this on the next project I have that requies a topping. The excess is removed by heating with your iron while the remainder underneath the stitching stays permanently.

Thanks for the info about the good deal! I'm going to check into it.

Good news for embroidery only Brother machines. This weight bobbin thread is not readily available, as the owners of these machines already know!
There may be some older Janome and at least one older model Babylock that are also calibrated for this weight bobbin thread.

You do know your dealer can recalibrate your bobbin case to use a different weight thread don't you? I've never uses anything but 60 wt in my BL Emore with no problems. It was a floor model when I bought it and one of the last ones made and I think it came from the factory for 60 wt thread.
