How do I generically gift a Craftsy class? (Moderated by Deepika, EleanorSews)

Last year I gifted someone a Craftsy class at the sale price without having to pick a specific class for them. I don't remember how I did this- but I'm hoping it is possible to do it again this year. It was nice to let the recipient be able to choose their own class using the free class gift I sent.

I've always had good luck sending them an email when I had difficulties. They don't get back within 24 hours but they do get back to you and always have an answer.

I sent them an email asking this same question... No reply yet.

I also had this question and asked about it. They do have the option and it has increments of $30 for a single class, $55 for two, or $75 for three.
This was the reply I got this morning:
"Since our classes do range in price all the way up for $59.99, the ability to gift any class will be slightly higher then our sale of $19.99. You can give any class here:
Craftsy Gift any class
If you do have a specific class in mind though, feel free to take advantage of our holiday sale and gift that specific class. If the recipient isn't interested in that class, we're happy to work with them to find them a class they would like!
To give a specific Craftsy class as a gift (for $19.99 or less!) just click on the class you are interested in from our class catalog. You will see an icon "Buy as a gift" found on the right side under "Add to Cart." You can decide when the gift is sent up to 3 months in the future."
I do understand their position that the normal price range for classes can vary so that's why they aren't applying the discount to the 'any class' offer. That's fair to me.
A possible workaround is to give a class at the discount today as they suggest and the recipient could ask for a different one.
Never tried asking for a refund or 'exchange' before myself so I don't know how much trouble it is, but it bodes well since Craftsy offered the option and it's the only way to have the discount applied.
