It has been horrible around here since Tues due to a shooting. One physician was killed. He had 2 teenagers. Another was critically injured & still in ICU, She may not be able to return to work. 20 yo was injured also, now upgraded to fair. The shooter was depressed & angry about a surgery which had complications. He should have started the shooting with himself, not ended it there.
The families need all the prayers they can get.
This afternoon one of my coworkers passed out in someone's home. Thankfully, she was not driving when it happened. She is presently in surgery for a dissecting aneurysm & has been for the past 3 hrs. So far, still alive.
She has a 17 yo wth fragile health & a 19 yo & is a single mother. She will be off work for at least 3 months if she makes it. We at work will be donating to help her.
This is the second shooting in the area in 2 months. & the 3rd episode of us making the national news. This is too much!!!

I am SO SORRY!!!

May God heal the wounded and comfort all of you!

My mentor had a ruptured aneurysm in her brain, survived for a month in ICU, then had another event and died a month later, leaving her teens without a mother. It was awful. She was a beautiful person who did so much to help others, as a nurse, lactation consultant, and healer. Her colleagues were devastated. I can only imagine the pain her death has caused her kids.

My brother was murdered, so the grief with the addition of anger, outrage, and the huge and endless WHY???? are familiar to me.

I'm so sorry that you've been attacked by this evil. Hugs and prayers to you and everyone affected.

Julia, I'm so sorry for all the tragedies piled on one another. Hoping for the best outcome possible for everyone.
