When I serge my serger starts bouncing and moving around. I have a Brother 1034D and I sew atop a sturdy wood desk. Any tips to help stabilize my machine so it doesn't bounce around?

How about a piece of shelf liner that is kind of rubbery and kep things from moving around. I use it under my foot pedal because it tends to run away from me. I also use it under my embroidery hoops when I am hooping stabilizer and fabric.

Shelf liner or a piece of an old yoga mat.

Both of my sergers have suction cups on the bottom. If I get a damp washcloth and rub it on the bottom of the cups, my serger sticks to my desk and doesn't move at all.

A large mouse pad underneath the serger might help.

Happens to me with my Bernina sergers, whenever I go really fast. The rubber mat helps.
