Dear Gig,
I noticed  way back in the forum you said that your shoulder needs probably an inch forward shoulder adjustment.

I have the same adjustment and I actually had a friend look at the tissue fit yesterday.  She said that the back armhole was not right and suggested it was the forward shoulder adjustment, plus the round back adjustment that had raised it slightly.

Do you find this?

Cheers,
Siobhan

The forward shoulder adjustment does make the back armscye larger (just like the body would be) - what exactly did she say was not right about it?

Sorry Gigi,
I did not make that very clear.  My friend said that it was pulling up tight under my arm at the back.  She suggested that i might have to reshape the lower part of the back armhole to accomodate  the forward shoulder adjustment.

The forward shoulder alteration would not be making the back armhole tight.  You may either 1) need additional length through the back armhole (many people then would also need less length through the front armhole/chest) or 2) you just need to reshape the armhole a little.

To add length, just slash all the way across and spread, filling in with tissue.
