Here's what I do:
Remove the needle (cut the threads to the fabric)
Remove the foot.
Remove the needle plate.
Cut the threads that are nested, being careful, of course, not to cut your fabric.
Put everything back in place and test stitch.

How far did you sew before this happened?

It could be the bobbin thread jumped out of the tension slot on the bobbin case.

Igrande...its underneath the feed, do you mean unscrew the plate that is around the feed dog? I took off everything else as you mentioned, just want to be sure I understand correctly. @ pattyann, I noticed it within 10 or so stitches in the beginning. trying to sew a sleeve :/

Refer to the maintenance section of the manual for your machine. There should be information there about removing the needle plate (the area below the presser foot/needle).

Also, make sure the fabric is behind the opening in the presser foot before beginning a seam. If there is a gap the needle can push the fabric down into the needle plate.

When this has happened to me the threads have gotten tangled around the bobbin in a big ol' bird's nest. If that is the case here you are going to have to get those threads cut. I think your machine has a top loading bobbin, which I've never worked with, but is there a way to try and pull out the bobbin?

FYI - It is all in the maintenance section of the manual. A top loading bobbin case has to be removed more often for cleaning than a vertical bobbin. Or, at least it seems so.

Yes, that is the needle plate. You'll want to get at the threads underneath.

just stay calm and don't pull on things forcefully, use a fine pair of scissors and clip away what you can. if you can move the cover to the bobbin area, do that. If you can remove the bobbin, do that. Continue to gently clip any threads you can see, be patient, clip away, and sooner or later things will work free.

Maybe this youtube video will help. Fabric jam in brother top loading sewing machine

As mentioned by many in the comments...do NOT use canned air...it will force debris further into the sewing machine.
