Morning Picture-Spring
I look forward to my Bing homepage every morning. I love the pictures of the day. They have been concentrating on winter lately, but this morning!!
No snow here, but grey and rain....Spring will come!

I'm actually one of the few who loves winter. It gives me the excuse to stay inside and sew and cook and bake and not have to worry about outside chores.

I'm totally with you--for me, each day of spring & summer is one day closer to fall and winter. I absolutely love it and finally feel like we had a good one this year--nice and cold and snowy. When spring arrives, it just means another huge "to do" list for outdoor chores. I appreciate the beauty of flowers and nature, but I'll take cold and snowy any day. I even love winter clothes much more than summer ones.

I have to agree with lgrande and Bobbinnoli on all counts. Although, I don't do ''outside'' - DH takes care of those duties. I just enjoy all things winter or cold weather. I do get a lot of flack from folks, especially living here in AL (born and raised up north). My body just doesn't like the heat and humidity here.

I enjoy my bing page, too - love the woods and the fresh smell of nature - and the forest is always cool

Winter has never yet lasted too long for me. We cross country ski, snowshoe, skate. I'd rather shovel snow than cut grass any day. Just got back from a walk with the pooch on snowmobile trails, in falling snow.
Late Spring is nice but early Spring means slush, ice, mud, flooding if the snowpack melts too quickly. I'll be looking after my sister's long haired, heavy coated dog next two weeks and I'm so thankful for cold weather and snow still two feet deep on the ground so I won't have to deal with the mud she'd get into otherwise. My own Lab is bad enough. :)

They are actually calling for snow again next week. This is unheard of this late in the mid-atlantic. I usually don't like hot weather. I will love it this summer. It's been an awful winter.

I don't think you are one of few. I think you are one of many.

I guess it just seems so to me since many of the folk I come into contact with around here curse the snow and cold.
I can't help asking myself why in the world they're living in Montana. I grew up in the Midwest and then later moved to the Pacific Northwest where I stayed for over 30 years. Give my snow any day over endless rain and overcast skies.

Oh darn, the picture on Bing today is of winter again. Yesterday it was of spring, and I missed it. This reminds me of how this winter has been (don't blink, or you'll miss the warmer days).
