Just did my first pattern review yesterday. Sorry if it is a little messed up, but I will know next time how to do it better. I think all my stuff came out bold because I typed in-between the when I should have typed after? Live and learn
Just ordered the FFRP book also, everyone refers to it so often and has such great things to say about it. Can't wait for it to get here to help me improve my sewing skills and learning how to do alterations on patterns to gain a better fit. I just love this place and all the helpful friendly people and all the great posts from everyone! I have learned a lot just from reading other posts, especially the pattern reviews. These are so helpful to see what other people do in the way of alterations for a better fit.

Congratulations on your first review. I'm sure you'll enjoy getting to know everyone here.

Where did you order FFRP from? I was at Barnes & Noble yesterday and couldn't find it there. I did see it on Amazon.com, but just wondered where you found it.

I'm also on the lookout for Fitness Finesse by Nancy Zieman. My problem, when it comes to books, is that I am a bargain shopper. I don't mind looking around for the best deal. Fabric isn't the same. If I see it, I buy it. Wish I were the same way about fabric as I am about books. LOL.

Thanks for your help.

Congratulations! This website is so much more fun when you are fully participating. I go for a pretty long time between reviews (slew sewist), and I always feel out of the game during the time in between. Looking forward to more from you.

I did a search on Ebay for it and found it, someone had it up for auction but I am too impatient to wait for an auction to end, several places had it for buy it now, so I went with the lowest priced one. Can't wait for it to come!
I am not only learning a lot concerning sewing on here but also different things to do with my computer that I never knew how to do. Just a wealth of info.

Renee... congratulations on your first pr review. I've yet to do one so I can really appreciate your feat! Once this kitchen remodel (which has taken a small eternity) is under my belt I will attempt to do so myself. In the meantime this board serves as a reprieve from the constant chaos around me. I guess that says something when chaos becomes a constant in your life LOL!!!
