It's cute, I think it's a Singer 20. Made for kids mostly or maybe even sometimes advertised back then as a real small "travel machine". It chain stitches. You could do some real neat chain stitch embroidery with embroidery threads in it. That is what I would use it for, if I found one.

It doesn't have a needle.

The numbers might have something to do with oiling. you could try to see if you can find an old manual. Ebay has stuff like that sometimes.

I have one - it's a toy. I found needles on Ebay and the manual is on Singers site. The numbers are for threading. I don't sew on it but I think it's a wonderful piece of art. It does sew though.
