I've never sewn a bathing suit but stumbled upon great fabric and well you know the rest....I bought clear elastic, although I'm still deciding on a pattern, I wondered what type of thread to use. Any help is appreciated Thanx!

Any 100% Polyester thread is the best. It is strongest and should not break when you squezzze into your stretchy swimsuit and will hold up to chorline. Cotton thread will not hold up to the chlorine in the pool and breaks under less tension.

Thank you for helping avert a cotton thread catastrophy, I had a vision of me hitting the water and unleashing in every direction (not pretty) :)
