I used my friend's square up last month when sewing at her house. She has a clear 90 degree square up, 6 inches each way .... it is shaped like an upside down T. She said she bought it some time ago . I looked at JoAnn's yesterday & did not find one. ....Anyone have one? Where do you find it? In the meantime we got a metal 90 degree square like carpenters use from hardware store. ..... I prefer clear so I can see all stitching lines.
Thanks for the info!

Oh also wanting ruler for the use on the cutting mat that has large numbers so I can see them better... with the lip if possible. .... Thanks so much....

I have a clear acrylic square up which sounds like what you are describing. I bought it years ago when stamping was so popular. It seems like I bought it at a kiosk in the mall which sold all sorts of stamps, inks, etc. On Joann's website the only thing I found that comes close is the Stamp Alignment Tool Stamp Positioner.

Ebay has what I was talking about - Art Impressions Rubber Stamp Positioner Square Clear Acrylic Craft Tool
(I don't know how to post a workable link but if you google it you will have no problem finding it)

Are you describing a T square?

amazon

It is clear plastic, so you can see though it.

Currently working on a boys quilt. Sized 40 x 40 inches. It has chickens, chicken eggs, cows, fish, sea life, afield with water, Dachshunds, mini sailboats, and many colorful other fabrics. The blocks are a 4 x 4 finished size, so many of them are needed.
This my 4th quilt in 7 months.

Is this it?

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, this is what I found when I used Donna's search term.

Like this? T style square up.

It is really similar to what my friend has.

I have one on the way now. DH said I could get any small item that I wanted for my birthday so I saw one on Ebay last night & bought it! ....
Sure will be a big help on corners for me.
Just wanted to finish up this topic.
