This is only my second post to this site so I hope that I am doing it right, if not please let me know. I am making a shirt for my DD. It has butttons down the front with a stand and a crisp collar. The shirt front has three fold lines that I have traced already, the first one is called the facing. The instructions say to fold only twice but I have three fold lines. How do I do this? I haven't sewn in several years and I was looking forward to starting again and I hit a snag on the first night. I hope I'm explaining it correctly. Please help!

Tessa, is one of those lines the center front and not a fold line?

Yes, Irene. One says center front. Does that mean that I don't fold on this line.

Correct. When you're ready to do the buttons, you'll match the center front lines on the left and right fronts so you know how far they should overlap. Otherwise, you can forget about it until then. :-)

Wow! Thank you so much Irene and Marita for your prompt responses. I feel like I can tackle it again tonight now. All of you ladies are truly an inspiration. Thanks also to Depeeka for creating the site. Maybe I can be of help on here one day.
