I have a pair of pants that I have been working on and that are almost finished. This is my first attempt at pants, and so far, i'm pretty satisfied with the results. One thing though, the pants are just a little too baggy for my tastes in the inner thigh area.

My question is, to get a better fit, can I just take in the seam just a little, or do I have to pull the whloe seam out and start over? I don't need to fit them anywhere else, I just want to take them in from about 2 or 3 inches below the croch area. Maybe i'm just making this harder than what it is. But this is my first pair of pants - AND they turned out well so I don't want to mess this up. lol

Try taking them in. Use a basting stitch that will be easy to rip out if you don't like it.
