The light seems to be poorly placed in the Imagine. It's super bright behind the door to the right of the foot and I would like to have more light over the presser foot area.
The bendy lights I'm seeing attach to metal and there doesn't appear to be any metal on this machine housing. Has anyone run across a good bendy to stick on?

I haven't been able to find one, but here is an idea: I bought one of those magnetic ones from Wawak for my Singer 401 -- which has aluminum housing so of course it doesn't stick. So I cut down two of the sticky strips from the 3M Command hooks and used those to stick the light to the 401. Works perfectly and I left the tabs so I can remove the strips anytime to move the light if I want to.

Excellent idea. I have not used the 3M Command hooks...obviously it's a metallic strip?
I'll take a look at the Wawak bendy. I like that it has a cord...I don't want battery powered.

3M Command Hooks
Adhesive, but easily removed and it removes cleanly. I use them anywhere I don't want to put holes in the wall.

Do you have an Ikea near by? They have lots of cool lights and the 3m sticky tabs work great for stuff like this.

I thnk so, though your mileage may vary. I have the 20 lite version, which is about $23.
I tried to take pics of the difference with and without the light:
This is without the light:

This is with the light turned on:

No...no Ikea. The nearest one is 400 miles away. But I will check Ikea online. Thanks.
